Meal was brought to me via take out. Cajun turkey wings were flavorful fall off the bone goodness. Potato salad was sweet but surprisingly tasty; sweet potatos were good too. Mac and cheese ok. Can’t wait to taste this lemon cake!
Stopped at Corinne’s this past Saturday with my daughter and Gal Pal after throwing out the suggestion cause they wanted soul food out of choices given. Me, I’m no stranger to this gem. First time was over 30 yrs ago on a date! Well….these women with me put a hurting on the food you see pictured here. Everything was fresh, delicious, comforting! Service was fantastic. Best part? Seeing Corinne herself! Looking ‘fly’ as ever, chatting up memories of ‘back in the day’, Holmes Lounge memories, dancing to wee hours in the morning. This place remains a historic gem and significant to memories black patrons (particularly) can trace their own memories of food they GrandMama, Mama, Aunties, Uncles prepared with loving hands. Thank you Corinne and staff for a great afternoon, may the history and legacy live on🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️

I was able to be there while on vacation. It was my first time there. The food portions were HUGE. The good was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. The service was refreshing. I highly recommend this place! You will love the food, service and atmosphere. A true 10 out of ten!
I must say that was some of the best soul food I have had in a restaurant; I can say the food was simply delicious! The waitresses were wonderful and so was John and the head or owner was a doll! My table got the buffet no the regular type buffet where people are all over the food! This place (Corrine’s )you select tell the person behind the counter what you want and they fix your platter for you, which I liked! The buffet which 3 of us had was filled to the brim and once again I must say the food was simply delicious and I do mean DELICIOUS!! One more thing, the staff(everyone) were really friendly and accommodating!! You must go because I will definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff for such great service!
My husband and I came here to Corinne’s place to eat after coming from the Aquarium which is about less than 10 min away. It was our 1 year anniversary and we wanted some good soul food. When I tell you the food the service was top tier, it is rear to find a soul food restaurant where everything is good! We were impressed with how fast the food came out to us. Not only that but it was fresh and nice and hot! Ms. Corinne is so sweet and she made sure that her and her staff got us everything we needed. Thank you Ms. Corinne , we will be taking that 1 hour ride again. We had a wonderful experience. 10 out of 10 we recommend!
The food was amazing and you get a big portion, so it is hard to eat it all! Those turkey wings were amazing and fell off the bone. If you can see, I went in before my picture. lol The staff was very kind, also. Thank you. I will return when in town. 😍
This place is a gem! Let me start off by saying it is BLACK OWNED, atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. The decor was nice and the dining area was clean. Chef D had awesome service. I highly recommend everyone gives it a try, my husband and I came from Philly which is right over the bridge. May I add that the food portion is very generous!
I ordered the pork ribs, and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and literally fell right off the bone, true comfort food with that soul-food warmth. Even better, the portions were affordable, which made the meal feel even more satisfying. For sides, I tried a few different dishes: Mac and cheese: Really good, creamy, and comforting. String beans: Flavorful, though a little on the salty side. Rice and gravy: Simple but very good, the gravy tied everything together perfectly. Overall, this meal definitely hit the comfort food and soul food spot. Great flavors, tender ribs, and budget-friendly pricing made the whole experience worth it. I’d happily order this again.
